Email Support for EsoTerra Customers
Welcome to the Email Support page for EsoTerra Software, Inc. There are many new options available. The newest supported features are Antivirus / AnitSpam, Authenticated SMTP (outgoing email) and Web Based Email services. Web Based Email and Authenticated SMTP are automatically included with your hosting agreement. AnitVirus and AntiSpam may be added anytime. To purchase AntiVirus / AntiSpam service please contact your sales representative.

Below you will find extensive support for POP3 based email. Some options have changed from previous settings.

POP3 email is read with a software package similar to Microsoft Outlook or Endura. Web based email is similar to hotmail.com or yahoo.com email.


Do you have your email account information?
You should have been issued the following information from your account representative. Please be sure to have this information before trying to configure your email software.

 Email Account Information
POP3 Server Name (ie. mail.esoterra.com)
SMTP Server Name (ie. smtp.esoterra.com)
User/Account Name: (ie. chris@DomainName ) NOTE: Usernames do not contain .com
Password
Your Email Address (ie. yourname@DomainName.com )

POP3 Software Configuration Help
Please choose a POP3 client from the list below for help in setting up your email account. EsoTerra Software is able to support most POP3 email software packages, however if you do not see your email client listed below, please contact the manufacturer for further support.

To determine what version of software you have, most POP3 clients have an "About" dialog box found under the "Help" menu item. For example, by clicking Help, I could choose "About Microsoft Outlook"

PLEASE NOTE: EsoTerra email servers support Authenticated SMTP which is very different from Secure Password Authentication (sometimes referred to as SPA). Please pay close attention to this when setting up your email account. Please DO NOT enable Secure Password Authentication(SPA), as this will disable you from sending email.
